Tests required for Canadian immigration

Physical examination
Required for all applicants regardless of age. Detailed description of the physical examination here.
Chest X-ray
Required for all applicants 11 years or older. No exceptions. If you are pregnant read this.
Laboratory tests
Urine test for protein - age 5 or older
Blood test for syphilis, HIV and kidney function - age 15 or older
Activities of Daily Living Assessment
Needed for applicants who have a disability or are over 75.
Mental Status Assessment
Needed for applicants over 75.
All of these examinations and tests are done in one visit.
They can be done without any special preparation. No fasting is required (you can eat just before).
